Your glamour and elegance pulls me to you and the technology you hold. Like a puppet on a string, the electricity you cage inside, pulls me into your mind of apps and logic. The world at my finger-tips is really a drug; an addiction, the uncontrollable need to unlock the powerful manipulation of your playing with my mind, why…why must you be this powerful amazing gadget?
The disguise, the poison that brainwashes humans with its fragility, yet with one easy drop you smash and crack unleashing the pain and anger and ignorance you hold. Who needs friends when you have Siri? Is he the controller really? Why do you punish me, every percent of energy I use of you I give back but you….you give me nothing you just drain me and keep going till I have nothing left.

I think that you are the new security blanket of the world. With your advanced technology you will become the leader of society, promising advances but instead wrecking the minds of the new generation with auto correct, punctuation and shorter spellings. Telling Siri what to write creating laziness as well as becoming a distraction in classrooms. It might be understandable that you tempt teenagers offering a world of street-cred, bling and bonding but you cannot be hidden behind kiosks with blank packaging and health warnings.
A time will soon come when we no longer judge people by their personality and abilities but by their technologies. A prime minister will be elected, not on the politics he proposed but by the phone in his pocket. This technology, the new and improved versions of action figures and barbies and dolls that you can dress up and personalise. You’ll be spending your money on technology instead of the basic supplies such as food and unpaid bills, you will no longer interact and cooperate face to face but by mobile networking and messaging.

However we still convince ourselves there are positives that outweigh the negatives such as emergency, important phone calls and details, storage purposes and memories, phone numbers and contacts.
You have entertainment value and news apps as well as stocks, weather and diary apps to help organise and structure your lives, which explains why so many workers have come to rely upon your type of technology.
But this reliance is surely just a time bomb ticking until individual thoughts and strategies have been destroyed. You’re a virus, a disease, but everyone judges the book by the cover, or in this case a screen. Y lure them to you taking over their minds hypnotising them, using them for your own game, waiting the moment to take over the world and create it as your own. Why? Why do you want this? Is it power or knowledge or just proving that you’re small but mighty. You’re so thin but packed with so much anger ready to be unleashed, your infinite knowledge makes the world’s visions and possibilities endless.
