Coffee, coffee, coffee. The sweet aroma of coffee in the morning is like being awoken by a kiss in the morning. That first sip is where you pause and savour the moment, you savour the moment like the coffee bursting with flavour in your mouth. You start your day by taking control and having the perfect cup of coffee just the way you like it. You know from that first sip that the coffee is just what you needed to start your day and give you the zeal you need for the day.
The perfect cup of coffee is like a tailor-made suit; it was made for you. The correct measurements in every area, it gives you confidence, energy, and the will to push through what task, trial or adversity is headed your way today. Coffee is the fuel for the fires of passion, without coffee our eyes are closed off to the realm of possibility, without coffee there is no desire, without coffee there is no life, without coffee…I’ll be honest I can’t get up in the morning. Is it the same for you too?

October 1st, ‘National Coffee Day’, a day to promote and celebrate this beautiful beverage as well as promote fair trade and awareness of the plight of coffee growers. As we all know and or heard before it’s the little guy that suffers at the bottom whilst the man at the top is making money and living lavishly, typically in developing countries where goods such as coffee is exported from. The Fairtrade movement is a system designed to put money back into the hands of the farmers and or into the development of the community by building schools and universities.

So the question is: your coffee fair trade coffee? Maybe that’s something to look out for because a little can go a long way.
