It’s the Christmas season, so you know what that means? Time to watch some cheesy feel-good Christmas movies with the family. So, to get into the holiday spirit, here are some Christmas films you can watch on Netflix (These films are available on UK Netflix and may not be available for other countries).
- Last Christmas (2019)
Aspiring singer Kate, played by Emilia Clark, works as an elf at a Christmas shop in central London. Despite this, she doesn’t have much Christmas spirit. But everything changes when she meets Tom, and she rediscovers the magic of Christmas. Henry Golding and Emilia Clark have great chemistry, and if you’re in the mood for a cheesy Christmas romcom, this is the movie for you.
2. Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (2020)
After having his important book of ideas and a unique toy stolen from him, Jeronicus, a toymaker, loses his ambition to create toys. But when his kind and joyful granddaughter comes to visit, he finds renewed hope. Jingle Jangle is an extravagant cheerful Christmas musical that is great fun to watch with kids.
3. Klaus (2019)
My personal favourite on this list, Klaus is an animated movie that follows Jesper, a selfish postman who’s been kicked out of a postman training academy and Klaus, a reclusive woodsman and toymaker who form an unlikely friendship and end up delivering joy to their cold, dark town.
4. Nativity (2006)
A British primary schoolteacher, Paul, is set the task of producing the year’s nativity play. He had falsely claimed that his ex-girlfriend, a Hollywood producer, would be making the play into a film. This movie is pure fun and is a great comedy musical that both kids and adults will find funny.
5. The Christmas Chronicles (2018)
An adventure comedy that’s great for kids, the Christmas Chronicles centres around two siblings, Teddy and Kate who accidentally cause Santa to crash his sleigh. To save the Christmas spirit, they must join Santa and his elves on an adventure.
