Giving has always been a key way to help others in times of need, and for many a little can help a lot.
What is ‘International Day of Charity’? Taking place on the 5th September, it is a day we use to make sure people are doing good in the world no matter how big or little their actions may be. All help is still help, all support is still support, and all act of kindness are still acts of kindness.
The main purpose of this day is to raise awareness and provide a common platform for charity related activities all over then world whether its for an individual, charitable, philanthropic and volunteers organisations on any local, national, regional and international level.

This momentous day takes place on the 5th of September because that is the anniversary of Mother Teresa of Calcutta’s death. This choice was made to honour the tireless work Mother Teresa did by devoted her whole life to charity work.
